Test Procedure

1. Collect a urine sample at room temperature (59-68 F / 15-30 C).
2. Open the foil pouch containing the ETG alcohol drug test dip card.
3. Remove the dip card from the pouch and write the donor name or ID on the dip card in the provided space, then remove the cap.
4. Immerse the absorbent end of the dip card into the urine sample for 25 seconds. Do not immerse past the MAX line.
5. Remove the dip card from the urine sample and place it on a flat surface.
6. Wait for 5 minutes to allow the test to develop.
7. Interpret the results by comparing the color of the test line to the control line.

Positive Result: If the test line is the same color or darker than the control line, this indicates that the ETG alcohol concentration in the urine sample is at or above the cutoff concentration of 300 ng/mL. This is a positive result, indicating recent alcohol consumption.

Negative Result: If the test line is lighter than the control line or does not appear at all, this indicates that the ETG alcohol concentration in the urine sample is below the cutoff concentration of 300 ng/mL. This is a negative result, indicating no recent alcohol consumption.

Invalid Result: If the control line does not appear, this indicates an invalid result. Repeat the test using a new ETG alcohol drug test dip card.
